In order to receive the student registration rate, please send us a proof that you are a full-time student. We will need a copy of your student card (both sides showing photo, name and card expiry date) to ISBNPA 2019 Conference Secretariat by email to ISBNPA 2019 Secretariat.

** For low and low-middle income countries’ delegates 

You are eligible to register as a delegate from a low or low- middle income country if you currently live and study or work in a low or low-middle income country as recognized by the World Bank (click here to see the list).  If you live and study or work in a high-income country and are funded by an institution in a low or low-middle income country you are also eligible to register at the LMIC rate.

Please note that the Gala Dinner final price is being negotiated (it should be around 70 USD). We plan to open the Gala Dinner registration in early February. We will contact you at that time to learn if you are interested in booking the dinner.

ISBNPA, BioMed Central (BMC) and RIT Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition are pleased to be able to offer scholarships to 4 pre-selected ISBNPA 2019 attendees from low and low-middle income countries via a new initiative to provide funding for early (5 years post-PhD) and mid-career (5-15 years post-PhD) researchers.

This funding can be used to conduct formative or pilot research (or to complete an existing study), and present the study findings at the 2019 ISBNPA Annual Meeting in Prague.

The selected attendees will receive support for registration, travel and accommodation expenses.

No other form of support will be available at this time to support travel or stay for LMIC to attend the Prague meeting.

If you require an invitation letter in order to obtain a visa, please note that you must be fully registered and have received a confirmation of payment before the invitation letter can be emited. Please be advised that for payment by bank transfer or cheque, the Secretariat requires 2-3 business days to process your request.

It is recommended that you start your visa application at least 12 weeks before the conference.

Cancellations are permitted until April 30th, 2019. Registrants will receive a full refund less a CAD $100 administrative fee.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Venue West no later than April 30th, 2019 by emailing isbnpa2019secretariat@venuewest.com. Registrants wishing to cancel on or after April 30th, 2019 will not be eligible for any refund. Substitutions from the same organization are permitted and must be submitted in writing to the same email address as above.

Acknowledgements

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Congress and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Canada, failure to utilize tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered.

Venue West cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
